Ban Dulaper is a Pwo Karen community nestled within a lush and fertile forest. This area serves as a pristine natural oasis, exceptionally well-preserved. Farmers here prioritize Agroforestry, cultivating coffee under the canopy of large trees in the natural forest. The coffee trees thrive alongside indigenous flora, maintaining the balance of the upstream ecosystem and ensuring the continued fertility of the topsoil.

At an average elevation of 1,100 – 1,200 meters above sea level, the high-valley topography ensures a cold climate with high humidity throughout most of the year. This chilly atmosphere acts as a natural “preservative,” allowing the coffee cherries to ripen slowly.
